8. LEVEL1 TASK for beginners

The beginners' task has the following pin lists

Following are ENCODER, TESTBENCH and DECODER VHDL templates. Please make use of them. ENCODER and TESTBENCH are completed VHDL. Then you can simulate encoder right now.


  • ENCODER： encoder.vhd
  • TESTBENCH：testbench_bch.vhd
  • DECODER TEMPLATE：decoder.vhd


    • Figure 10 shows VHDL simulation waveform using those templates. Waveform corresponds to the case of (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0) information bits.
